Terms

In short

BrickBatch is a free set of tools for sorting and labelling LEGO® collections. Use it kindly, keep what you make, and know that it is a hobby-sized service run by one person, offered as it is. These terms are the agreement between you and BrickBatch when you use the site or make an account.

Last updated 19 October 2026 (version 2026-10-19). Written in plain language, not legal advice; to be reviewed by a lawyer before any paid feature. BrickBatch is run by Tobias Linkjendal personally in Norway; it is not a company (yet). How your data is handled is in the Privacy notice.

What BrickBatch is

BrickBatch (brickbatch.com) offers free tools: a guided sorter for unsorted LEGO, a label maker for printable bin labels, a room designer, piece pages and guides. Every tool works without an account and saves your work in your own browser.

Accounts are optional

Age

You need to be at least 13 to make an account (13 is the age of digital consent in Norway). If you are younger, a parent or guardian can make and manage the account with you. The tools themselves need no account, at any age.

Your content stays yours

Your photos, notes, batches, label sheets and settings belong to you. By saving them to an account, you give BrickBatch permission to store them, process them and show them back to you, only so the service can work (for example syncing them to your other devices). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Nothing you save is published, shared with other users or sold. Only you see it.

Fair use

Please do not:

The site’s own text, design and images belong to Tobias Linkjendal. You are welcome to link to any page and to print labels for your own use.

A free service, as it is

BrickBatch is free and offered “as is”. It is looked after with care and on a best effort basis, but without a warranty: it may have bugs, be unavailable now and then, or get a weight, a part name or an estimate wrong. Keep a copy of anything important (Download my data on your account page, the label maker’s file, or a batch hand-off).

As far as Norwegian law allows, BrickBatch is not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost time from using the site. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for gross negligence or intent.

Changes to the tools

BrickBatch is still being built. Features may change, move or stop. If a feature that holds your data is going to stop, you will get a reasonable chance to download your data first.

LEGO

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. BrickBatch is an independent fan project, not affiliated with the LEGO Group.

When these terms change

Changes are announced on the site, and this page always shows the date they took effect (“Last updated” at the top). If you have an account, your account page tells you once when the terms have changed. Using BrickBatch after a change means you accept the new version; if you do not, you can delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms follow Norwegian law, and disputes go to the courts of Norway. If you are a consumer, you keep every right the consumer law of your own country gives you; nothing here takes those away. Before anything formal, please get in touch: most things are solved with a message.
