Cookies
The short version
BrickBatch sets no cookies. No tracking, no advertising, no analytics:
nothing here follows you around the web.
The tools do save your work in your own browser, so it is still there next time. That
stays on your device; BrickBatch never sees it.
A general notice in plain words, not legal advice. BrickBatch is run by
Tobias Linkjendal personally; it is not a company (yet). Last updated 30 September 2026.
What your browser keeps for you
Saved with your browser’s local storage (and, for photos, its IndexedDB database):
- The sorter: your batches, where you are in a sort, and your sorting
setup (bb.sort.v2.batches, bb.sort.v2.session,
bb.sort.v2.profile; the older sorter uses
bb.sort.session.v1). Photos you take at a weigh-in stay in
bb.sort.v2.photos.
- The label maker: the sheet you are working on
(brickbatch-labels-state).
- The room designer: your rooms (bb.room.rooms,
bb.room.rejected).
- Your settings: kg or lb and other units (bb.units),
the piece colour you picked (bb-piece-color), light or dark
(bb-front-theme).
- Sell: that you already said you are interested, so the page can say
thanks instead of asking again (bb.sell.interest). Your email is
not kept there.
- Early-access signup: only if sending fails (you are offline, say), your
signup waits in bb_pending_signups and is removed once it has gone
through.
How to clear it
In your browser’s settings, delete the site data (often called “cookies and
site data”) for brickbatch.com. That removes everything listed above, including saved
batches, labels and rooms, so export anything you want to keep first (the label maker can
save your sheet to a file).
A private or incognito window keeps nothing after you close it.
Who else your browser talks to
- Netlify hosts the site. Like any web host, it receives your IP address
and the pages you ask for, and keeps short server logs. The text font (Lexend) and the
icons (Material Symbols) come from brickbatch.com too, so no font service sees your visit.
- Google Forms receives the early-access signup on the front page, if you
send it: your email and your answers.
- Netlify Forms receives the interest button on Sell, if
you press it: what you ticked, and your email only if you add one.
- Links to Discord, Instagram, Facebook, Rebrickable, BrickLink and LDraw contact those
sites only when you click them.
